For over 25 years, Production Designer Kevin Pierce has excelled at transforming ideas into colorful sets and landscapes that stir the senses.
Kevin has successfully managed to balance his boundless visual creativity and love for design with a disciplined awareness of budgets, schedules and crew management. Luminaries such as Oprah Winfrey and Spike Lee as well as diverse clients such as the NBA, Playboy, HBO and AMC hit TV series Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul have all relied on him to create spectacular, multidimensional sets and environments.
Over the years, Kevin has enjoyed working on numerous projects for the NBA, including commercials and television programs directed by Adam Levitt, Steve Michaud as well as live events for various All-Star Weekends. They include: NBA Legends, NBA Hall of Fame Roundtable, NBA League Pass and NBA Up All Night.
Whether he's designing a 30-second television spot for BET, a music video for J Lo, a feature film for Disney, a theme party or awards show environment for Hollywood or an Afghan village for military training, Kevin possesses the rare ability to work calmly and methodically through would-be problems while maintaining the vision and confidence necessary to see the finished product – long before it has been completed. It is this marriage of equanimity and imagination that allows him to adapt quickly under pressure and lead his crew of talented artisans through the obstacles inherent in any creative process.
Kevin can usually be found working, playing and enjoying life in Los Angeles, New York or at home in the high desert of New Mexico.
